YOU were born EXACTLY as you were meant to be and a perfect confluence of events created YOU.

YOU are a perfect reflection of your Creator –the Universe, G-d, Creative Intelligence, Energy, Randomness, Oneness, (whatever you want to call “IT” ) COMBINED with your parents: their DNA and their history which based on epigenetics proves that you were also born with their traumas, their pain, their fears in the very molecules of your being.

YOU are your soul which is a piece of this universal energy – it is everlasting. YOU have come with gifts that are unique. YOU have come to share something whether you acknowledge it or not.

YOU are in a constant quest to fulfill that potential whether you agree or not, whether you know it or not, whether you found this purpose or not, whether you like it or not. And YOU will not feel whole until you are doing what YOU were meant to do.

And often, you spend your whole life trying to understand why you are the way you are and why you are here...

But this quest is like a treasure hunt.

YOU have to feel it is important enough to search for the treasure.

YOU have to sift through the clues, overcome the obstacles, remove the garbage and explore the hiddenness to find the treasure.

But it is there. It is definitely there.

YOU were raised by people who weren’t perfect. None of us are.

They made mistakes. They were wrong. They were also right.

You made mistakes. You were wrong. You were also right.

REFLECTIONS is a philosophy.

REFLECTIONS is a process.

REFLECTIONS is letting go.

REFLECTIONS is re-creation.

REFLECTIONS is visionary.

REFLECTIONS is whatever you want it to be.

To live with them and yourself, YOU created a SELF that others see. It is the one that covers up all your fears, your anger and rage, your happiness, your self-consciousness and all the things you don’t want anyone to see for fear that you will be a target –

you will be seen as weak, be attacked, be killed and eaten.

Or maybe even YOU won’t recognize who YOU are if you peel back that outer shell and look underneath.

The perception of who YOU are keeps you safe but it is not the REAL YOU and it doesn’t connect you to anyone of anything because no one actually knows the real YOU, possibly not even YOU.

YOU are probably even pissed off by now saying, “who do you think you are telling me this…you don’t know me” or “I am as real as it comes” or any form of internal anger designed to stop you from change or changing the status quo. And that’s OK - I don’t take it personally. But I didn’t make this up. It is called the FALSE SELF.
